201 Dance Company - Smother

English:

Can you stay true to yourself, when everything suggests you change? After sell-out performances in New York, London and Edinburgh, 201’s raw, contemporary hip-hop movement returns in Smother: a story of two men’s broken encounter. Touching on themes of addiction and obsession, Andrea Walker directs a cast of seven dancers in
a fast-paced performance exploring the relationship between two young men.

NO Fringe Festival Bergen is a four days multidisciplinary arts festival

The festival will take place in Bergen from 11-14th of September acting as a ‘stage’ for local, national and international artists to present their innovative work ranging from performance to installation art and anything in between.

The festival will be a meeting place for both emerging and established artists and stands for artistic freedom and focuses on out-of-the-box and “alternative” works that may not fit into mainstream performance or exhibition spaces.

Each year over 200 Fringe Festivals across the world showcase hundreds of thousands of artists and performers. 19 million people see approximately 170 thousand performers in 60,000 free and ticketed events. There are so many different forms of Fringe Festival,

no two are the same and they never repeat themselves.

Come and be a part of the inaugural NO Fringe Festival in Bergen!
